Refund Policy

Version: 1.0 · Last updated: July 1, 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of online courses and cohort-based programmes from MoiraiOnline (moiraionline.pro).

2. EU statutory right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason, under:

  • EU Directive 2011/83/EU (EU consumers)
  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK consumers)

Exception — waiver upon consumption: Once you begin consuming the digital content (e.g. you watch a recording, attend a live session, or submit homework), you expressly waive the statutory withdrawal right with respect to that content, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We display a clear notice of this at checkout and require your explicit confirmation before granting access.

How to exercise your withdrawal right: Email [email protected] within 14 calendar days of purchase, before consuming any content. Include your order ID and registered email address.

If you exercise your withdrawal right under this section and have not consumed any content, you will receive a full cash refund regardless of the cohort timeline schedule in §3 below.

3. Refund schedule by cohort timeline

For purchases outside the §2 withdrawal window (or where the statutory right has been waived by consumption), the following schedule applies. The cohort start date is referred to as T.

WindowRefund
From purchase until T − 14 days100% full cash refund
T − 14 days to T − 7 days50% cash refund
T − 7 days to T (cohort start)Credit only — transfer to the next available cohort; no cash refund
After T (cohort has started)No refund — digital content is considered consumed

All refund amounts are calculated based on the amount actually paid (after any discounts or promotional codes applied at checkout).

Important for EU/UK consumers: If your purchase falls within the 14-day statutory withdrawal period (§2) and you have not consumed any content, you are entitled to a full cash refund regardless of which row in the table above applies. The table governs situations where the statutory withdrawal right has been waived or has expired.

Examples (cohort starts October 1):

  • Purchase September 1, refund request September 10 → 100% refund
  • Purchase September 1, refund request September 20 (T−11) → 50% refund
  • Purchase September 1, refund request September 27 (T−4) → credit to next cohort
  • Purchase September 1, refund request October 5 (cohort already running) → no refund

4. Cancellation or rescheduling by MoiraiOnline

If we cancel a cohort before it starts (e.g. minimum enrollment threshold not met, instructor unavailability), you will receive either:

  • A 100% full cash refund, or
  • The option to transfer your enrollment to the next available cohort.

The choice is yours. We will notify you as soon as cancellation is confirmed and process your selection within 5 business days.

5. Suspensions for Terms of Service violations

Accounts suspended for material breach of our Terms of Service (including but not limited to: recording redistribution, account sharing, harassment of students or instructors) are not eligible for a refund.

6. Refund process

  1. Email [email protected] with: order ID, registered email address, reason for refund request.
  2. We will respond within 5 business days.
  3. Approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of approval, to the original payment method.
  4. Currency conversion losses, if any, are not compensated.
